Trust Community Bill of Rights v1.0

TCBoRgraphicside

Trust is the basis of the community. The individual and the community is based in trust. Individuals have the right to be trustworthy, to earn trust and to give trust when it is warranted.

.

The community and its member are in charge. The right to freedom of choice dictates what the group is willing to accept and adopt, and the standards by which they will participate. Individuals retain the right to fair treatment by those inside and outside the community.

.

Advertisers must be transparent. Payola needs to be honestly portrayed. Those transactions require full disclosure. Untrustworthy activity (spamming, trickery, lying, abusing access to members, etc.) is prohibited. Individuals retain the right to interaction – two-way communication with brands.

.

Individuals retain the right to bear alternative concepts. Everyone has the right to be an individual within a community.

.

Every community has the right to create its own eco-system through participation. Sharing creates a thriving community. Crowd-sourcing, user generated content and collective thinking are every community’s right.

.

.Privacy is the right of every person. Personal identity will not be sold to any advertiser, service, group or individual.

.

Leadership is earned by the individuals with the greatest level of trust. Part of this responsibility includes supporting and collaborating with all other community leaders. Leaders provide guidance and stewardship based on what the community decides is best for the community.

.

Participants are held accountable by the community. People have the right to vote  with their keyboards and mice.

.

Evolution is natural. Individuals retain certain inalienable rights throughout any transformation: The right to form a union of like-minded people for the greater good of the group, the right to evolve, the right to engage, the right to thrive and the right to create.

.

Individuals and communities retain the right to payment for their goodwill, participation and opinions. In the times and ways that the community deems it appropriate, monetization is fitting.
